Integrated Management System and Certifications
 Qatar Design Consortium is committed to continually improve its quality, environmental and occupational health and safety performances.An Integrated Management System (IMS) is implemented and certified to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.
The Integrated Management System applies to the Qatar Design Consortium’s various area of “Consultancy services in Architecture, Civil & Structural Engineering Building Engineering services, Quantity Surveying, Construction Supervision, Project Management and Management Systems”.
Quality Management System

A Quality Management System as per ISO 9001 was established, documented and implemented since 2005. A successful transition to the Upgraded ISO 9001:2008 was accomplished in the year 2009 Qatar Design Consortium is highly committed towards Quality of its services delivered to customers.
Key Activities
♦   All major projects handled by Qatar Design Consortium have a Project Quality Plan to ensure all  requirements of customer as well as ISO 9001:2008.
♦   In Qatar Design Consortium the Management Representative has appointed an Assistant Management  Representative and a team of Quality representative for each processes within the organisation for effective and efficient performance monitoring of quality.
♦   Internal and External audits conducted regularly each year for compliance check and identifying areas for improvement.
Environmental Management System
The Environmental Management system as per ISO 14001:2004 was implemented along with the Quality Management System in the year 2005. Qatar Design Consortium’s decision to implement and certify an Environmental Management System is a result of its understanding and commitment towards contributing a positive environmental society.
Key Activities
♦  All significant impacts within the organisation are duly considered and action taken for improving
♦  Evaluation and compliance of legal and other regulations
♦ Environmental management system performance monitoring by Assistant Management Representative and team of Environmental Representatives (appointed at different levels in the organisation)
♦  Creating awareness campaigns and environmental motivation awareness programmes for the staff.
Occupational Health and Safety Management System
Qatar Design Consortium follows OHSAS 18001:2007 standard as guideline for its occupational health and safety management system.Qatar Design Consortium’s OH&S management system was certified by Moody International in 2009 and the decision shows its ethical commitment towards its personnel regarding health and safety issues.
Key Activities
♦    Appointment of Assistant Management Representative and OH&S representatives to monitor and measure the  performance of the system which includes .
♦    Emergency preparedness and Fire fighting trainings for all the staffs.
♦    First Aid trainings for more than 200 staffs.
♦  Incident reporting and corrective action.
♦   Safety booklets on hazards identification and awareness.
♦  Health and safety procedures for Project Management department
